You’re the only hater, that I see. Great job Yale. Keep on , keeping on.

Gentlemen; a solid win for our blue today against a good team. Our signal caller continues to improve the play calling in crucial situations has not. Hats off to the defensive line coach for his excellent rotation, keeping the lineman fresh. The linebacker side number 24 can tackle thank goodness number eight cannot. During the season have we had the same offensive line for two games in a row. Going forward hopefully will be in a position to rest our players for the important last two games and give some of the younger players an opportunity to play. Number 23 is becoming last year’s number 10.
Speaking of #10 from last year, I’m watching Stanford against Miami, looked up David Pantelis, and can’t find any stats that show he has played at all this year. Anyone know if he’s hurt.
On the other hand, Clay Patterson is looking good.
Pantellis injured and out for the season
Pantelis tore his ACL unfortunately
Your criticism of Phoenix Grant (No.8) is apt. He’s out of position at LB. He has the build (6’ 2”, 225) of a strong safety. Grant is quick, and he could stay with receivers. My suggestion would be to put the Freshman Xavier Coleman at LB. He’s listed at 6’2”, 238 and a DE. He played Edge on a state champion Ft Worth team last year. He played against Lehigh.
Yes Pantelis, unfortunately got hurt in preseason a week before the 1st game. I’m sorry IDK the exact cause of the injury but.
My question is to the offensive coordinator Ostrowsky. When are you going to put Abu, in the offense.? Why not use his GOD GIVEN TALENT.!! He is always around the football, he’s scored multiple touchdowns playing DEFENSE.!! Come on GENIUS.!!
Saturdays game with Columbia will be televised on NESN .
I hope Yale opens up the passing attack more against Columbia. They need to further improve that aspect of their offense. They still rank 2nd to last in the league in passing yards per game. Only Columbia is lower and they’ve had had lots of injuries at the QB position this year.
Not much to knock. They looked good on both sides of the ball. Great to see strong pass defense. DB’s looked strong, needless to say, A. Kamara outstanding. Pass rush pretty good too. Reno generally looking more and more the part. I do wish some coach would do something about his footwork on the quick flat passes, however. Capt, Pitsenberger his usual stud. Hope someone beats Cantabs before our guys face them.
While I would like to see someone else beat Harvard, I don’t want it to be Dartmouth. My reasoning is If Yale wins out, and Harvard beats Dartmouth, the winner of Yale-Harvard goes to the playoffs. No matter what happens elsewhere, Yale has to beat Harvard to either win a piece of the title and/or go to the playoffs. Of course, I’m not taking into consideration improbable outcomes like Penn or Columbia beating Harvard, which would be fine, if not likely. The important thing to me is Dartmouth getting that second league loss since they have the tiebreaker over Yale. Son of Eli rightly pointed this out to me.
Yale’s impressive performance against a fine Penn team portends well for a championship deciding game against Harvard. It was good to see Dante display some running ability along with successful passing to our top receivers, Nico and Jaxton. Kudos to the defense for limiting the scoring by Penn’s talented passing combo O’Brien and Richardson. Looking ahead, optimism for the remainder of the season is justified. We have the best running back and wr in the league along with one of best d backs in the FCS: Kamara is simply outstanding. The one area that needs an urgent fix is the loss of yardage due to penalties. Yale is worst in the league in penalities (137 yards in the Penn game). Totally unacceptable if we want to go the to post season tournament.
Kumara is outstanding playing where he needs to be this year. We have another outstanding back in Pitzenberger to take care of the offense.
But next year…release the kraken.
To my recollection they’re is a precedent in place. With Melvin Rouse , playing mostly defense. But would come into games. 2 to 4 times a game . To spell relief and give a different look.
To me that is utilizing your brain and the young man’s talents.
I just love the wild, spirited way the defense is playing. Yes, they’re kinda undisciplined, and yes they’re sometimes out of position, but man do they have talent and man do they love to bring it. I spoke with a couple of Yale football moms at halftime and they that said Kamara was the world’s most talented trash talker. Evidently, he really gets into peoples’ heads and under their skins. He also turned down a bunch of offers to move to fancier programs. I hope he’s elected captain. He deserves it.
