Brett Gerber is a 6’4″, 225 lb. linebacker from Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida. Gerber is a tackling machine who led the state of Florida in total tackles in 2015. He has prototypical size for the linebacker position and could even transition into a defensive end at the next level with a few additional pounds on his frame. Gerber uses his speed and agility to slide by blockers untouched and pursues ball carriers relentlessly. One can clearly see that he is a coach’s son when analyzing his tackling fundamentals.

Thank you, moderator. Your one-a-day bio system is a lot of fun and prolongs the pleasure. Might also be great if you began a list of the 2023 recruits.
I 2nd that ..!!
Coaches son – certainly reads the game well. I can imagine could end up playing at end at some point in his career.
I don’t think the Hudl video on the FB website is of our Brett Gerber. Look like a linebacker/LS from OK. Our Brett Gerber from FLA looks better. Am I wrong?
Think you’re right https://www.hudl.com/profile/9273398/Brett-Gerber the first high school matches up here
