Let us know who we are currently missing!

Men’s Basketball is currently 9-0 in conference play (16-6 overall record) with a big weekend ahead for the Elis as they host the Big Red and Lions on Friday night and Saturday night respectively.

Men’s Lacrosse entered the season with a top 10 national ranking but fell to Villanova last weekend in the season opener 11-13 and then was routed by Army 3-14 this past Wednesday.

Men’s Ice Hockey has had a brutal season with a 6-17-2 overall record and a very difficult matchup at Quinnipiac tonight.

David Pantelis has committed to Stanford, following in the footsteps of Clay Patterson. Pantelis selected Stanford over other major programs such as Michigan, Missouri, West Virginia and Kentucky.

Coming off a tremendous season at Georgia Tech, Jackson Hawes earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl and impressed scouts with his dominant blocking abilities and sure hands. While scouts were aware of his blocking skills prior to the Senior Bowl, Hawes turned heads with an impressive one-handed reception in practice. Several publications are now listing Hawes as a top 10 tight end heading into the draft.

I would be interested in knowing why the marked decline – from national champs to one of the weakest teams in D1!

Coaches get old and either don’t connect with high school recruits anymore or lose assistants who could. Happened to Cozza and now Allain.

Congratulations to The Men’s Basketball on their Ivy League Basketball Championship. Well done.

The board moderators should mention that College Hall of Fame inductee and First team All American Dick Jauron died. A fitting tribute is in order.

Also of note: women’s hoops is poor this year (3-21), but women’s hockey is pretty good (16-11-3, eliminated Dartmouth in ECAC tourney 1st round, faces St Lawrence next).

I’m glad to see both QB recruits are 6’6″. Size doesn’t hurt.

Women’s Lacrosse, is ranked #4 in the nation. With home a game at 3 against CCSU today. At Reese Stadium

IT IS INTERESTING. THE PATRIOT LEAGUE TEAMS ARE PLAYING A 12-GAME SCHEDULE THIS YEAR. THE IVY LEAGUE ARE, AS USUAL, PLAYING ONLY 10 GAMES .

Actually there is potential to play more than 10 games. With the playoffs there can only be one Ivy League team in there and if there is 3 way and two way tie they will have to play it out.

Ray it’s more pathetic, than interesting. Way , way overdue . It took the brain trust 24 years to have a 10 game schedule. 1956 to 1980. It’s been 44 years for them to think about adding another game . Robin Harris , is so mamby pamby it’s truly uninspiring. Especially since the IL is supposed to embrace change and inclusion.
They are so backwards it’s ridiculous. Start the season earlier. Add another 2 games.
To the people securing an out of conference opponent. Think of a home and away series. Out of the Northeast and Mid Atlantic . Let these young men compete and by God support them . Like a normal University would.

FCS teams are allowed to play 12 games in years where there is an extra weekend in the calendar between Labor Day and Thanksgiving.

Most FCS schools did so in 2024…except, of course, the Ivy League did not.

There will be 12 games for FCS in 2025, as well. After that, it’s back to 11 games for FCS. The next time FCS will be allowed a 12th game is 2030.

What’s up with the Yale men’s lacrosse team.? They seem like step slower than their competition. See what happens next week against Denver on Saturday. Go Bulldogs

Gentlemen; does anyone have information regarding the spring practice schedule. What are your thoughts on potential starters at the signal caller, linebacker, and split end positions?
