Noah Pope

Noah Pope is a 6’1″, 205 lb. linebacker from St. Georges Independent School in Memphis, Tennessee.  Pope spent the last season at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford and was originally a commit in last year’s class.  He is exceptional in pass coverage and reminds us a bit of Foye Oluokun.  Pope utilizes his hands effectively to shed blockers before exploding through ball carriers.  It’s hard to find any weaknesses in his play as he can rush the passer, defend receivers and stop the run.

He looked very impressive on film now with one year under his belt at Chote he should be coming in ready to contribute to this already outstanding class of recruits. Can’t wait till September.

Red shirt Freshman Ivy style. Should see some significant playing time this year.

Gives lots of options to drop into coverage or hit the line.

Much of the pressure last season came from LB Blitzes, wonder if Coach Stevens will keep the same aggressive schemes as last year.

Gentlemen; mr mcgowan is the defensive co-ordinator. his style is pressure defense I doubt he will change his successful defensive scheme in the the future.
