Blue and White Game on Saturday

Head out to the Yale Bowl this weekend to catch a glimpse of the core of next season’s squad.  The game will begin at 1 PM and will last until roughly 3 PM or so.  After the game, be sure to stick around for the Ivy League Championship Ring Ceremony and a Yale football BBQ.  The weather looks like it will be mostly cloudy with a high of 53.

The celebration of Tom Beckett’s career will take place on April 24th.

Although these preseason “games” are hardly games, today and next September’s Brown Scrimmage should tell us if we have a decent backup QB or two.

D Major Roman is looking like a Baby Burres from the Giants. Jimmy Check is looking like the rock solid 2 nd stringer.
Defense looked tremendous, they will be ready for September for the 2018 season ..!! Go Bulldogs

D. Major Roman caught two deep passes, one for a touchdown. He looks to be the favorite to win the starting TE job. Jimmy Check threw for a TD and looks to have established himself as the #2 QB. Rodney Thomas looked great at safety and should end up as a starter at that position along with Tosan Agbeyegbe. Offensive line had some trouble opening up running lanes. Defensive line looked great. They were in the backfield all day. Sam Tuckerman was 1 for 2 in FG attempts, both from 40 yards or more. Good crowd was on hand.
