I am impressed with how far Salter has come since freshman year when I saw him as quick on his feet and fast as a runner but easily knocked down. Now he is even used effectively to gain those two or three yards for a first down on third down. Dadek is a real find! Rawlins can run, but if he gets hurt, we have a different team.

Dudek had a phenomenal high school career against tough competition, won the 100 meter title, and opposition coaches said he was a better player, and would be a better college player, than a few taken by Pitt and Penn State. Landing him was a major coup and his performance is no surprise.

I agree Slater played well but it was clear that Dudek was the best player on the field. Don’t get me wrong Slater is a great short yardage back. Dudek had 16 carries and that is not enough. If Dudek stays healthy he will dominate the Ivy League. If he gets the touches he will lead the Ivy League in rushing yards. His jump cut and dead leg is elite at any level of college football!

Dudek reminds me of Dick Jauron ’73. Hope I’m not being premature in saying that because Jauron was one terrific RB.

I haven’t seen a Yale team like this , since the early 70’s. Tom Doyle, Tyrell Hennings, Rudy Green Chris Palmer , Al Morris, Brian Ameche Elvin Charity. Any how Yale has a stable of RBs WR’s . Defensive Line is exceptional , Linebackers, Secondary is a work in progress. When they rectify there coverage and penalties this team will be lethal . Have that killer instinct. On ward to RoseHill.!!! Go Bulldogs

Last year a horrible first quarter like the one Saturday would have meant a loss. Different team, different attitude.
