Looks like a solid class so far. I would like to see another defensive tackle, interior offensive lineman, and wide receiver commit to top off the list.

We lost a recruiting battle to UCLA for Odua Isibor, but his top four were UCLA, Yale, ASU and Texas A&M.

Reno must be working his magic for us to be mentioned alongside these powerhouses.

Let’s welcome Michael Chime to the Yale football family! His performance in the Ohio state championship game was phenomenal!

Is the recruiting finished? Any to Choate? Any transfers?
Who’s eligible to play for an additional year and who’s going to do so? Any news on Hines, Tyler, or the Montana RB?

IT IS , IN MY OPINION, THAT WITH 32 RECRUITS A FEW OF THEM WILL LIKELY ATTEND A PREP SCHOOL (CHOATE ? ).

I THINK IT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING HOW THESE FOOTBALL WERE TREATED. WHY IS YALE SO CHEAP THAT THEY CANNOT HIRE MORE STAFF TO TREAT THOSE INJURIES SUSTAINED BY PLAYERS. YALE LOST A VERY GOOD TRAINER WHEN DAVE DINAPOLI LEFT. I OBSERVED HOW CARING HE WAS TO PLAYERS WHO HAD INJURIES WHEN I ATTENDED FOOTBALL PRACTICES. MAYBE A LAWSUIT BY A PLAYER WOULD WAKE UP THE ADMINISTRATION !

It is appalling. These are Yale students, not hired mercenaries. Yale can happily drop $50,000,000 to placate the strident and make itself feel worthy, but can’t seem to find the wherewithal to look after its own. This is far more important than the issues on which Yale’s leadership is spending most of its time. You can bet that this article is being reproduced for distribution by Ivy League rivals, and well it should be.

This article is appalling & ridiculous. There is a lot of blame to be heaped on a good amount of people for the decline of things dealing with Yale football over the last few years. However, the strength coach (past & present) and Reno & the coaching staff have taken the FULL HIT over these blogs for our rash of injuries during this time. All to come to find out that not only is our training staff inadequate, but they are also understaffed, and worse off athletes are regularly being misdiagnosed and not being rehabilitated? Wow! There are better training room environments and levels of productivity in many high schools than that! So we should ax Reno and his staff because they haven’t done their jobs (rightfully so). But now we realize that when the players got hurt, in THE MOST VIOLENT contact sport there is, they basically were not rehabbed, or misdiagnosed, or had to just “play through it”? I am at a loss for words. Knowingly putting these young men’s health in jeopardy when they are being counted on to as their main job to preserve it, for the good of the university. This is nothing short of an embarrassment. Whose…or should I say how many heads should roll for this one?

Everyone should email Tom Beckett and tell him to do something about this. He is largely to blame for its decline, I imagine! It happened under his watch! I think a law suit may be in order!

I agree. Beckett should be fighting for improvement big time! Why isn’t he? Tony should be furious as well! He should be all over these people!
