Princeton 31 Yale 3

Harvard may not be a powerhouse this year, although only one loss in the Ivy League to this point would seem to be strong, but if we (Yale) are within 28 points of Harvard this week I will consider that to be a positive.
As I think about what I just wrote, it’s sad to think that losing to your biggest rival by only four touchdowns could be a good thing.
If Reno can’t beat Harvard, that’s reason enough to move on.

Sure, yale is 2-7 right now, but they are only 1-3 on turf fields, so the numbers are in our favor this week.

@Elm City you are a idiot, yale is historically better on grass anyways so it doesnt matter. thats why we play on grass.

Yale is not the worst team in the Ivy League, although they are getting there. Beckett is committed to Reno, and Salovey doesn’t really care. He is interested primarily in the academic and in creating a university community that is diverse as well as excellent.

“Salovey doesn’t really care”

One would hope that his regular attendance at the shellackings, and his past history of conducting the band at games, etc., would indicate otherwise.

But alas, Mr. Patrick’s comment seems to be accurate.

President Salovey is quick to appease social justice warriors and other aggrieved groups – unless their grievance is of a pro-athletic nature, apparently.

This is a group of young men that were rated at the top of the Ivy League in terms of recruiting classes. Four years later, they are a pitiful group of seniors with a 2 win record. That is all coaching. Young men that choose to come to Yale deserve better. The expectation is that they will be exposed to world class professors and the expectation is that they will also be exposed to world clas coaching. Not the case and it’s time to move on. There are many highly qualified coaches out there that would jump at the chance to take over the Yale job. Find the best one and pay him the money. It’s not that we can’t afford it.

Lots of underutilized talent on both sides of the ball. DB’s can’t turn and find ball for some picks?? How about a screen pass to slow the rush or an outlet receiver??!! Can’t bring in Trey Moore for some packages?? Change it up for Harvard and be less predictable!! Let’s win!!
