Rodney Thomas II was named to the Indianapolis Colts’ 53-man active roster yesterday after an impressive camp in which he displayed his versatility at safety and on special teams. Congrats Rodney!
Jaeden Graham remains with the Philadelphia Eagles, however, he was injured roughly a month ago and placed on the Injured Reserve as he will be out for the season.
JJ Howland and Dieter Eiselen were cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears respectively but showed enough promise to hopefully be claimed by another NFL team on waivers or land a spot on a practice squad.
Foye Oluokun, the NFL’s regular season tackling leader last year, has established himself as the leader of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense after signing a contract worth up to $46.5 million with $28 million guaranteed this off-season. Defensive Coordinator Mike Caldwell referred to Oluokun as the “security blanket” of his unit while praising the leadership skills that Foye has brought to Jacksonville.

They did have a scrimmage. I talked to a player and he said it was okay. Lots of things to work on. Wish there was better and more up to dat information out there.
From what I understand the starting D and O didn’t play and the second string only played one series. Not sure how much there is to draw from if that’s the case. Don’t know if Brown did something similar.

Is there a solution to getting better, more current information? I get it that some folks are angry at the situation, but wondering if there is a way to fix it. I noticed on Instagram, i43media, was posting for a couple of days at the beginning of camp. Seems to have stopped. I am thankful this blog exists – or there would be zero – nothing. Just wondering.
The thing is , it’s the kids that suffer they deserve to have the best opportunity to be recognized . By not Showing the special interest stories and player profiles, YaleFAN, there is away. The Sports Publicity Office needs to do their due diligence. And earn a paycheck by doing just that. Getting in touch with the various news agencies TV, Radio, bring it back. Newspapers etc.

Brown scrimmage was utilized primarily to help coaches solidify the 2nd team/traveling team since Game 1 on the road vs HC and can only travel with 63. The starting offense played 1 series and the starting D did not all play together so in summary, used as means to identify the 2nd 2-deep for roster..
Sounds to me like they are considering the HC game as this years scrimmage.

IT MAYBE BILLY DAHL # 28 . I SAW HIM AT THE YALE INTRA SQUAD SCRIMMAGE. HE DISPLAYED SPEED AND VERY GOOD CUTTING ABILITY INTO THE LINE.
The Freshman running back who has impressed in Brown scrimmage as well as team scrimmages has been #34. It appears we will go with a 4 man rotation at position #0, #21, #34 & #22. And #6 appears to have earned the backup QB role.
