YALE RECRUITS :
CONNOR HALVERSON , OT , 6′ 4″ , 275 LBS . AUSTIN WESTLAKE H.S. , AUSTIN , TX.

WYATT RAYMOND T/E , ENFIELD H.S., CT. WAS SELECTED AS ONE OF THE TOP 26 FOOTBALL PLAYERS IN CT .

Again we lose a top recruit Michael Leone a big tough lineman to another school. I saw him on film scary player would of been nice to see him play at Yale.I guess he is going to Rice. Just glad he not in the Ivy League. Wish him luck. Walt Yale Blue.

I AM INCREDULOUS AS TO HOW LEONE COMMITTED TO RICE WHEN IT APPEARED THAT HE WAS SET FOR YALE. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED ?
YALE LOST ANTHER RECRUIT–OL JALEN TRAVIS -TO PRINCETON WHEN HE AND HIS FAMOIY WERE ” WINED AND DINED ” BY THE YALE STAFF AT A RECRUITING CAMP THIS SUMMER. WHO MESSED UP ??

Im a yale football fan and this is bad this kid was supposed to go to yale not RiceAnother talent wasted at another school We need lineman there 10 or 12 spots left lets go coaches do your job.

The Offensive and Defensive lines have a combined 7 three star recruits, not including the incoming freshmen class. I believe the lines are in adequate shape for the time being, however the Wide Reciever category may draw some worry this season. Also, look for Joshua Eboboko to explode this upcoming season, an inside source told me.

WR? Obviously the likes of Reed and J.P. will never been seen again in tandem, but two or three underclassmen looked great vs. Harvard. Then there is Rouse tho it’s likely the defense won’t be able to spare him. He could get spotted in at WR tho.

This from another thread about an incoming receiver who could help us next year as coming from a big Texas school and see we only bringing in 3 receivers so these guys must be good and ready to play.

After watching his films, think this WR will see the field for us next season as lead team to TX state championship in highest division in TX…not sure how we got him as saw several offers from other smaller D1 and Ivy programs as perhaps Westlake connection with Reed K

Recruiting has been steadily down hill since this year’s magnificent senior class. We better grab some rough diamonds fast, because our polished three carat diamonds are jumping ship.

The leadership of this senior class will be greatly missed but we have had top 5 recruiting classes the last three years. Every program has recruiting losses and win’s and the staff has been very successful as a whole recently. We still have a lot of talent left on this team and I expect them to compete for another title.

Under most circumstances the great come from behind win in The Game televised nationally would help Yale’s recruitment efforts. One can only wonder how much of a negative impression was created by the half time protests and the long delay in the start of the second half which came close to causing the suspension of this year’s event due to darkness. It’s a shame that most post game coverage by the media focused on what happened during halftime than on Yale’s heroic win. Might a recruit now wonder if protests will become a common occurrence during half time at the Bowl?

Dick Jauron from Swampscott, MA chose us rather than h for number of reasons, one of which was the disturbances in Cambridge.

Leone at Rice they have 7 offense lineman coming in or on the team as of now. Going to keep a eye on this kid over the next four years and see how he does.

All ECAC teams were announced today. Eiselen was named first team and Shohfi and Warfield made second team.

Was looking at princeton recruiting class for next year there loaded. As of now were way behind Harvard and Dartmouth for recruits top recruits. You would think with our record this year we would clean up with recruits. No recruits the last few weeks what gives.

Conor Halverson, OT, 6’4” 270 Westlake. Captain and state champ. Offers from Air Force, Columbia and Bucknell.

We’ve been getting our ass handed to us on the recruiting front by both h and p the last couple years while d generally seems to out-coach us. We need to turn things around fast, or the next few years are going to be grim.

How about some upbeat, year-end recruiting news.
BTW: why doesn’t Zion Dayne have some stars??? He looks like a winner.

YALE RECRUIT :

ZACK HAALAND , QB , 6′ 3″‘ , 185 LBS ( ? ) , DALLAS CHRISTIAN H.S., MESQUITE , TX.

Ok we have QB Now we need three star lineman both sides of the ball. Also a nice big running back with power would be nice.

Mr Haaland does have a loud and persistent father? Does he have any stars? What other offers did he receive? Will he lead us to our 19th national championship? What are his (and his father’s) views on climate change?

So how many commits does Yale actually have now. Who is Yale’s main target for this upcoming year.

DAMIAN ANDERSON , CB , 6 ” 1 ” , 165 LBS., 4. 54 40 : ST. THOMAS AQUINAS H.S. , FORT LAUDERDALE , FL.

Are we not top heavy with DB . Im glad these fine men are coming to Yale but we need lineman LB and RB also. This could be a very good class if the coaches do there job

That’s a shame , no news .what so ever.on any commitments. Yale lost Leone and Johnson. Why?
What do we have to replace them . “Crickets’…. Come on Yale.!!!

West Side of what, the Hudson? Jets/Giants gonna give Kurt a look?

Though current young WR’s looked great in The Game, we certainly need more of them with the graduation of our legend guys.
